1. What are my rights as a passenger?
Passenger rights are governed by EC Regulation 261/2004 about compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding, flight cancellations, or long delays of flights, which went into effect on 17 February 2005. Click here to see a detailed explanation of your rights.
2. Is this regulation valid for all flights?
This regulation applies to any passenger departing from an airport located in the territory of an EU member state or travelling from a country outside the EU to the territory of an EU member state.
3. What should I do if my baggage is lost?
In case any problem occurs with your checked-in baggage (destruction, damage, delay or loss) you must present yourself immediately at the airline’s service desk and fill in a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) in order to report the incident for further processing by the airline.
