At Travelgenio we have gathered our customers’ opinions regarding trip flights. You can check the frequent questions regarding flights to solve any doubts you may have. If you cannot find the answer, please contact our customer service.

1. What do I need to know before I make a booking?

It is very important to make sure that all the information given in the individual steps of the booking process is correct. Our booking process has various steps, which will give you the chance to review your data before you confirm and pay for your booking. In order to avoid problems after your booking has been made, please check that all your data (names and surnames, telephone numbers, email addresses, flight dates etc.) is correct.

2. How do I know that my booking has been confirmed?

Once the booking process is finished, you will be taken to the confirmation page, which contains all the relevant information about your booking, including your booking code. At the same time, an automatic email containing all the details of your booking will be sent to the email address given by you in the booking process. Please make sure that all the information contained in this email is correct.

If this is not the case, please contact us as soon as possible, and during the opening hours of our customer care service.

If all the information contained in the booking is correct, and your payment has been processed correctly, you will receive a second email confirming the completion of your booking. It is only at this stage that you will have your electronic ticket and can make your way to the airport.

This second email is your electronic ticket, which contains all the information needed to travel. We recommend that you print this electronic ticket and keep it on you at all times during the trip.

3. What do I need to do if the confirmation page does not appear or I do not receive any confirmation email?

If you do not receive the confirmation email after you have made your booking, please contact our customer service department or sending us an email. Before contacting us, please check that our reservation email did not end up in the spam box of your email account.

4. I made a mistake in my booking. What should I do?

Please contact our customer care department as soon as possible.

We would like to remind you that our ticketing process is automated and that once a booking has been confirmed, most tariffs do not allow for modifications or cancellations. If an airline or a tariff does allow for changes, we would ask you to request these in writing, and to be aware that you will be charged any corresponding fees.

Please bear in mind that once a booking has been made, it is not permitted to change the names of the travellers. In such cases, you would have to cancel the ticket (subject to any applicable fees) and buy a new one.

5. What do I have to do if my booking could not be completed?

Please call our customer service department during opening hours and we will do our utmost to help you.

6. Do I have to re-confirm my flight before I travel?

Flight timetables may be subject to change due to rescheduling by airlines, which is why we recommend calling your airline at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight in order to reconfirm your flight times.

7. What is the difference between direct and non-stop flights?

A non-stop flight is a flight which does not make any stops on the way between the city of departure and the destination airport. A direct flight is a flight which departs from one airport and may make a short stop or technical maintenance stopover before reaching its destination but which does not require passengers to change planes.

8. How much does a minor pay?

Please bear in mind that minors are classified into two groups and are defined as follows:

  • Babies or infants: Minors who at the time of departure of their flight have not yet turned 2 (two) years of age. They travel without having their own seat, must be accompanied by a person of over 18 years of age, and they pay a variable percentage of the adult tariff. As a rule, they tend to pay 10 % of the price of an adult fare, but this may vary between airlines.
  • Children: Minors who at the time of departure of their flight are older than 2 (two), but have not yet turned 12 (twelve) years of age at the time of departure of their flight. They must always be accompanied by a person of over 18 years of age. They pay a variable percentage of the price of an adult fare, usually between 67 and 75%. In this case, they do occupy their own seat.

9. What else do I need to know about minors?

Airlines usually accept a maximum number of children per adult:

  • One baby
  • One baby and one child under 5 years of age
  • Two children under 5 years of age
